The Playbook

You give power to whoever you blame.

Yes — your coach doesn't like you. The system isn't fair. You weren't given the same opportunities. You're probably right about all of it.

And none of it matters.

Not because your circumstances aren't real. They are. But the moment you hand your energy to the people and situations that wronged you, you've made them more powerful than you. You've let them win twice — once when it happened, and again every day you keep feeding it.

Here's the only truth that matters:

You still have to act.

Not because it's fair. Not because you feel like it. Not because someone finally recognized what you're worth. But because the alternative — quitting, shrinking, surrendering to circumstance — was never actually an option for someone who wants to compete at the highest level.

The athletes who break through aren't the ones who had everything handed to them. They're the ones who got handed nothing and acted anyway.

Stop waiting for the situation to be fair before you go all in.

The unfairness is the condition. How you respond to it is the resume.

Act in spite of it. Every single day.
