The Playbook
No one "should" do anything.
This is where most advice fails. It moralizes behavior instead of connecting it to outcomes.
"You should work harder." "You should be more disciplined." "You should want it more."
None of that matters.
Here's what does: If you have a desired outcome, certain behaviors increase the likelihood of achieving it. Others decrease it.
That's it. No judgment. No morality. Just math.
The question isn't what you should do. It's: Does this behavior move me closer to what I want or further away?
Elite performers don't operate on "shoulds." They operate on if-then.
If I want X, then I do Y.
Simple. Clear. Effective.
Try this:
Replace one "I should" statement this week with "If I want [outcome], then I need to [behavior]." Notice how it removes guilt and adds clarity.
This Week
